What documents/guarantees required to hiring a car from ECR?
ECR does not provide self- driven vehicles to individual. ECR would be pleased to entertain request from the Company, the clients is working with. In such an event, the following would be required:
Authorization from the Company (either email or letter)
Copy of Passport/CNIC
Copy of local/international driving licence.
Sign the self-driven proforma provided by ECR.
What action should I take in case of traffic accident?
Contact the ECR Office immediately for emergency assistance. God forbid, if someone is seriously injured, rush to the nearby hospital. If no one is injured and the vehicle damage is minor, remove the vehicle to the side of the road to avoid traffic blockage.
What are the traffic rules to be followed while driving?
Seatbelts are required to fasten and use of mobile phone is forbidden. Need to follow the speed limit and sign boards.
Can my friend/family member drive the rented vehicle on my behalf?
Any person other than the authorized must be notified and have a valid driving licence.
